What’s New

  1. October 2026

  2. Update

    DM Flowchart Designer Version 2.56.0

    Fixes

    • Mac: typing in the Label and Body Text fields of the Properties panel is fluid again, also on Intel Macs. The text appears at once and the chart follows a moment later.
    • A hex value pasted into the colour panel now applies right away, without pressing Return.
  3. Update

DM Home Theater Remote Version 1.3.0

    New in 1.3

    • Room view: the artwork of what your Apple TV is playing shows on the TV in 3D, and the speakers that are playing glow and send out sound waves the way each one faces.
    • Sound bar: show your front speakers as one sound bar under the TV (Arrange > Use a Sound Bar).
    • Pick a speaker's type right under the room view: tower, bookshelf, wall, ceiling, floor or sound bar.
    • Turn a speaker right under the room view, 1°, 5° or 15° at a time, or type its exact angle.
    • Blu-ray player: a card for a player connected to your receiver, with power, menus, arrows and playback, sent through the receiver over HDMI. Activity buttons can turn it on.
    • Import a house scanned with DM Scanner 3D: open its file from AirDrop or Files, and its rooms, furniture and floors go into your rooms and the House Map.
    • Smaller button sizes: Small and Extra small fit more buttons on screen.
    • The Apple TV reconnects by itself after it restarts, and shows each step while it connects.

    DM Warp Version 1.0.2

    What's New in 1.0.2

    • Fast strokes with big brushes no longer stall
    • Build up while held still: a brush setting that keeps adding paint while you hold the brush in one spot, the way an airbrush does
    • A mixing palette: a small work area at the bottom of the screen for blending colours. It is saved with your drawing and never exported
    • Draw in symmetry: mirror left–right, up–down, four ways, or around a centre. It works with the brushes, Fill, Move and Move Loops
    • Replay how a drawing was made, scrub to any step, and save the replay as a video
    • New tools: Select, Transform, Fill, Shapes, Guides, Canvas size, Text, Clone and Heal brushes, and Spot Heal
    • Shift-click draws a straight line from your last point
    • A new colour panel that never gets in the way of drawing, with sliders or a classic colour square and hex code, and a ring of nearby colours (hold Option on a Mac keyboard)
    • Hold Command and move the pointer to change the brush size; hold B for size and opacity, or Control and Command for size and edge
    • A Keyboard Shortcuts window to see and change every key, with more than one key per action
    • A Settings window for undo levels, history and shortcuts
    • Faster undo, smoother colour changes, and the app opens ready to paint with the brush you used last
    • Better Wacom pen support on the Mac
    • Press and hold any tool to see how it works

  24. Update

    DM Track Timer Version 1.2

Finish-line setup you can see. A live level meter now sits under every lane of the finish grid, even in full screen with the settings closed, so you can watch each lane against the threshold while you aim the phone. When a runner crosses, the time the detector fired appears above that lane. A one-tap Calibrate button joins the full-screen controls, and your detector settings now survive relaunching the app.

Intercom with the booth. The director can talk to a camera operator, page a phone with a ring and buzz, send short text prompts with a Got it reply, listen to the operator's microphone, and switch the phone to speakerphone, all without touching the phone.

Better race starts. A phone standing near the starter can be the gun microphone. It learns your starter's sound, runs the detection on the phone itself, and reports the moment of the bang so the race clock starts on time rather than when the message arrives.

Booth control of the phone. From the booth you can now dim the phone's display to save battery and stop a mounted phone glowing at the finish line, and turn its flashlight on at any brightness. A second booth computer can share the work, and a phone is only steered by whichever booth currently holds the cameras.

Fixes. The camera view no longer freezes after rotating a locked phone, and the lane grid redraws correctly after a twist, a rotate, or returning to the screen.

  25. New app

    DM Track Timer

Run the whole track meet from one iPad: schedule, heats, timing and results.

  26. Update

DM Record & Transcribe Version 3.0.2

New: a Recordings window (Window > Recordings, or Command-L).

    • See every recording in your save folder, newest first, with its date, length and transcript.
    • Search names and everything that was said. Matches are marked in the transcript.
    • Play a recording right from the list.
    • Transcribe a recording that has no transcript, or all of them at once.
    • Export a transcript as plain text, subtitles (.srt) or web captions (.vtt).
    • Rename a recording or move it to the Trash, transcript files included.
  27. Update

    DM Track Booth Version 1.2

Two Booths, one meet. Run a second Mac as a Desk alongside the main Booth. A Desk sees every panel and camera, and takes over a job — Timing, Roster, Broadcast, Cameras or PA — by asking for it. The main Booth keeps the final say and can take a job back at any time. If the main Booth disappears mid-meet, a Desk can step in and host.

Broadcast from a Desk. A Desk holding Broadcast can take cameras to program, cut, run replays, fire graphics and carts, and drive the playlist, all on the main Booth's engine, with its program monitor mirrored on the Desk.

Cameras from a Desk. A Desk holding Cameras steers gimbals and changes camera settings through the main Booth, and every camera's gimbal controls appear on the Desk just as they do on the main Booth.

Intercom. Talk to one camera operator or to all of them, page a phone with a ring and buzz, listen to any operator's mic in your ear, and put a phone on speakerphone from the booth. A volume slider and clear status make it obvious when a camera can hear you.

Better starts. A start-line phone can be the gun microphone: the booth's threshold, pitch band and learned start sounds run on the phone itself, and the race clock starts at the bang rather than when the news reaches the booth. Learn your starter's gun with three sample hits, then match on shape, pitch and attack. Pick the gun-listening device from the camera's settings or the Gun Listening header.

PA cues. Next up, Lineup and Ready announcements from Race Controls and the PA Script, a gun cue on Fire, and playlist rows that speak their own lines as they roll. Pull results, records, personal bests and schedule facts straight from the archive into an announcement.

Playlist. Each row is one item with a swappable picture, plus Voice, GFX and Sound tracks beside it. Rows with no picture show their graphics on black. The Add Item menu no longer flickers.

Quick Race. Open a heat without announcing or arming when you just want the lineup up, and a completed quick race no longer advances on its own.

Layouts that fit. Cart Wall gains a compact row layout and a header that folds for narrow columns. Live Meet uses a one-line title, wraps its buttons beside Advance, moves its footer hint into an info tooltip and gives the heat list the room. Each heat has a button that opens its lineup. Race Controls scrolls in short cells. The Feeds panel fills its cell, the Program monitor's graphics fold into a menu when space is tight, and the Audio Meter header folds too. Searching the Panels list for a job name such as roster or timing finds the matching panels.

Reliability. Devices keep their connection when the booth's network address changes, the booth advertises the address other devices can actually reach, and detector settings survive a relaunch. Built for the latest macOS SDK.

  32. April 2026

  33. Update

    DM Mobile Location Version 2.5.3

    Bug fixes:

    • Fixed an issue where Test Connection could overwrite your real location with placeholder coordinates on first setup. Test Connection is now non-destructive — it round-trips your existing location data without changing it, and registers a "closed" placeholder if no location exists yet.
    • Fixed an issue where Update Location could silently send (0, 0) to your website when a GPS fix hadn't arrived yet. The button now stays disabled with a clear hint until a real location is available.
    • The app no longer loads invalid (0, 0) coordinates from the server on launch.
